GOLF IN CROATIA AND SLOVENIA

Day 1:  ZAGREB – MOKRICE (50 km)
Arrival to the Zagreb Airport. Transfer from the airport to the city centre than sightseeing of Zagreb featuring Upper Town, historical centre of the city, Church of St. Mark with the famed multi-coloured roof, Cathedral, the Croatian National Theatre and University. After the city tour, road towards neighbouring Slovenia and the Mokrice Golf Court / Catez termal spa. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2:  MOKRICE – GOLF ACTIVITIES
After breakfast, golf activities. The 18 hole golf course stretches itself on 70ha directly at the castle Hotel Golf castle Mokrice. It was designed by Donald Harradine who combined the natural configuracy of the land, creating a masterpiece golf course, that runs through the ancient forests, passes the 200-year old English park and tries the golf player with numerous natural obstacles.

Day 3:  MOKRICE – GOLF ACTIVITIES or EXCURSION TO THE PLITVICE LAKES NATIONAL PARK (300 km)
After breakfast, golf activities or full day excursion to the Plitvice lakes national Park. The Plitvice lakes complex was registered on the UNESCO’s List of World Natural Heritage in 1979. Thickly wooded mountains embrace sixteen smaller and larger crystal turquoise lakes, interconnected by foaming cascades and deep falls.
Return to the hotel in Mokrice. Dinner and overnight in Plitvice.

Day 4:  MOKRICE – GOLF ACTIVITIES or EXCURSION TO DUBROVNIK by plane (1200 + 80 km)
After breakfast, golf activities or full day excursion to Dubrovnik. Early moring departure to the Zagreb airport than flight to Dubrovnik, one of the most beautiful stone cities in the world. This city-monument has been registered on UNESCO’s List of World Cultural Heritage. Upon arrival, guided tour of Dubrovnik including visits to the Franciscan and Dominican monastery and Rector’s Palace. This is followed by the panoramic bus drive above the City with the breathtaking view of Dubrovnik and surrounding islands. In the evening, return flight to Zagreb. Diner and overnight.

Day 5:  MOKRICE – LJUBLJANA – BLED (160 km)
After breakfast, road towards Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Walk along the river Ljubljanica which passes through the town’s centre, tour of the Three Bridges, baroque City Hall and Ljubljana Castle from the 13th century. After lunch, we continue our journey to Bled, an enchanting resort town by the lakeshore, at the foot of the Julian Alps. Sightseeing tour of the fairy-tale castle Bled and the meadiaeval city perched on a high cliff 100 m above the lake.
Diner and overnight in Bled.

Day 6:  BLED – GOLF ACTIVITIES
After breakfast, golf activities. The King’s Course and the Lake Course spread over almost a hundred hectares of land. They are distinguished by a luxurious sense of space and the generous arrangement of their playing areas. The exceptional natural surroundings make each hole a unique experience. Diner and overnight in Bled.

Day 7:  BLED – GOLF ACTIVITIES  or EXCURSION TO POSTOJNA CAVE AND LIPICA STUD FARM (280 km)
After breakfast, golf activities or full day excursion to the Postojna Cave and Lipica Stud Farm. We depart first for Postojna and a world famous Postojna Cave, the biggest and most visited cave in Europe which is also known as one of the most beautiful caves in the world. Ride on a miniature electric train through the fantastic subterranean world decorated with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. We continue our journey to Lipica stud farm, in the picturesque Karst region of Slovenia – the cradle of the Lipizzaner horse. The stud farm was founded in 1580 and, today, it is a jewel among the cultural and historical monuments. For over four centuries, the Lipica Stud Farm has nurtured the tradition of breeding and selecting thoroughbred horses. Diner and overnight in Bled.

Day 8:    BLED – ZAGREB (200 KM)      
After breakfast, return transfer to the Zagreb Airport.
