THROUGH THE CITIES OF PAST EMPIRES

Day 1: ZAGREB
Arrive in Zagreb, transfer to hotel.
Dinner and overnight in Zagreb.

Day 2: ZAGREB
Morning sightseeing tour of Zagreb,the capital of Croatia.
We’ll take you through the  Upper Town with its old nucleus – Kaptol and Gradec reminding visitors of Vienna, twin-spired St Stephen’s Cathedral, St. Mark’s Church with its beautiful decorated roof, open air market and down to the Lower Town – centre of Zagreb.
Dinner and overnight inZagreb.

Day 3: ZAGREB –VIENNA (380 km)
Today we head to Austria, passing through Slovenia.
Upon arrival Vienna city tour – from sumptuous Ring Boulevard with it’s magnificient buildings, State Opera House, past Emperor Franz Josef Hofburg Palace, the Parliament, City Hall, beautifully preserved Old Quarter with the famous St. Stephen’s cathedral – places and buildings you will admire and remember for a long time.

Day 4: VIENNA
There are many things in this town you can admire on your own – wather it would be famous amusement park Prater with it’s giant Ferris Weel, Spanish Riding School famous for it’s trained Lipizzaner horses, just stroll along the Viennese beautiful streets with numerous tempting shops or sit in one of famous cafeterias watching the world go by.

Day 5: VIENNA – PRAGUE (295 km)
In the morning we bid Vienna good bye and continue towards Prague. We are sure that you’ll enjoy this pleasant trip through the verdant valleys of southern Bohemia with a short stop at picturesque Trebon. Arrival in Prague.
Dinner and overnight.

Day 6: PRAGUE
City tour will reveal why Prague is considered as one of Europa’s most beautifully preserved mediaeval cities, former residence of Bohemian kings. The Wenceslas Square, the old Town with its famous square, Charles Bridge over the Vltava river and the National Street will reveal some of Prague’s aplendours.
Dinner and overnight in Prague.

Day 7: PRAGUE – BRATISLAVA (340 km)
From the Bohemian plateau to the Moravian Lowlands, with a short stop at Brno, Napoleon headquarters during the “battle of the three emperors” at nearby Austerlitz. Then along the Morava river to Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.
Upon arrival we proceed on a sightseeing tour of this attractive city historic centre beneath the massive medieval castle.

Day 8: BRATISLAVA – BUDAPEST (200 km)
Morning free till departure through tzhe wide valley of the Danube river and history-stepped border towns to Budapest.
Dinner and overnight in Budapest.

Day 9: BUDAPEST
Situated on opposite banks of the Danube river, the former cities of Buda and Pest are linked by a series of graceful bridges. Morning city tour will include some of the sites like the Hero’s Square with the Millenium Monument, the Parliament, continue to Gellert Hill and the Castle district, including Mathias Coronation Church and the Fisherman’s bastion.
Dinner and overnight in Bled.

Day 10: BUDAPEST
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
